"In
1990, we engaged Boone Fetter LLC for a build-to-suit building in Monrovia.
It was a large project (140,000 square feet) valued at approximately
$16 million. The project requirements were complex, with significant
R&D and clean room space. To
further complicate the situation, we were on a short time fuse. We were
leaving Pasadena and our lease was expiring. Time was short.
Working
with Boone Fetter certainly was a value-added experience. The chemistry
was great and Blaine was very responsive. Blaine met every deadline
on a very short time schedule, worked day-and-night with us, pushed
very hard, he was always available, and he even helped us with the FDA
approvals.
In
the end, the building was built exactly the way we wanted. It was a
wonderfully engineered building. I can’t say enough about the
quality of a Boone Fetter building.
The
deal was fair on both sides. The bottom line is that Blaine cuts a fair
deal and he stands behind it. We were satisfied and so was he. It was
a win/win for both companies.
After
construction, as a landlord, they were wonderful people to work with.
Very professional, yet flexible to accommodate our needs. The whole
Boone Fetter team, all the people they utilize (lawyers, accountants
and others) worked nicely with us. They are professional and competent.
The
Deal got done, it was done right and it was done on time. The
Boone Fetter people are great to associate with - true professionals.
They build strong, enduring relationships - and that’s the way
