Monrovia was designated as an All-American City by the National Civic League in 1995. This is the highest honor and most prestigious award that can go to an American community. Monrovia was one of the ten cities chosen in 1995. It’s an exclusive honor, fewer than 400 communities in the United States have ever received the award.

The award is focused on the “Three R’s”— civic Renewal, public safety Resurgence and economic Revival. The criteria for the award (safety, civic renewal and economic achievement) should be the same reasons you choose Monrovia for a business location.
